SURVIVING TRADITIONS IN DRESS AND COSTUME

Ths documentary shows and describes traditional dress and costumes still worn today: by descendents of the Inca in Peru, the Maya in Guatemala, by the Hilltribes of Northern Thailand, by Hindu and Muslim communities in Kutch, India, and by nomads in the Taurus mountains of Turkey. There is also film showing costumes worn in the Sultan's palace in Java and ceremonies in Ghana and Sumba, Indonesia.
